Use iPad to connect to FOP2?

I'd posted something about this earlier, but the post seems to have disappeared, without any explanation.

I've got FOP2 2.26 installed on a FreePBX Distro 3.211.63-8. Working great, from PCs and Macs using both Chrome and Safari.

I figure, since FOP2 supports websockets, as does Safari on iOS 6 and later (my iPad is running 6.1.3) that it should be possible to use FOP2 from an iPad.

I connect to the application, but see the "One Moment Please" with spinner screen indefinitely.

So, is this expected behavior? If not, what steps can I take to remediate? Thanks.

Do you have websockets disabled or enabled in /var/www/html/fop2/js/presence.js ? I have not updated IOS to the latest version myself, but I can say it works perfectly fine if you use FOP version 2.26 or higher and websockets are *not* disabled.

  3. That's a winner. Thanks for the pointer!

  4. iOS 7.0.2 does not work with FOP2 (2.2.7beta) anymore. Neither http or https.
iOS 6.1.x still works fine. Beware you cannot go back from iOS 7!

  5. Interesting, I see the same as mkeuter and with iOS 7.0.4 on an iPad v3.

But... with iOS 7.0.4 in an iPad Air or iPad Mini Retina (64bit CPU) FOP2 works perfectly.

Clearly this seems like an Apple issue.
