Using Centos6 and Sark 3.1.1-22, have installed latest FOP2 version. All Seems to work well except for the phone book, which seems to start OK but is completely blank. I have gone through the install documents several times.

Not sure about Sark, but perhaps not all php modules are available. Try to open phonebook.php directly in your browser, and then check your web server error log and try to spot php errors.

Have opened phonebook.php in a browser, it comes up with a blank screen, we have two fop2 installs on Sark PBX and we get a blank phonebook as the other system as well

Check your web server or php error logs, I cannot help you without more information. A php module is probably missing, but I cannot tell you better without having an actual error to look at.

the problem has been solved, I had passed the problem on, and it seems that the issue may have been with the Centos 6 install, noticeably the SELinux module, also may have been an issue with the setvar variable, I will try to get more details
