    how to upgrade 2.20 to 2.80
    give error how to remove old license

    /bin/sh: line 9: server/fop2_server: Permission denied

    Upgrade Aborted. License reactivation failed.

    Be sure you have internet access from this server,
    and that your code is not older than a year.

    If your license has expired, you must renew it in order to upgrade,
    or you can still use your current FOP2 version for as long as you want.

    If you already bought an upgrade code please run the following command:

    server/fop2_server --upgrade

    If the upgrade is successful run make again to retry the installation.

    My guess is that you downloaded the .tar.gz on some desktop and transferred extracted files over FTP, in that way all permissions were lost, including EXECUTE permissions on the fop2_server binary. So, either set execute permissions to that binary, or better yet, download and extract the file FROM YOUR SERVER, as described in the online documentation: http://www.fop2.com/docs
