    Hi,

I just purchased this great tool to use it on my IPBX (Asterisk with freepbx).

I am using the "Device and user" configuration and i was wonderring about the labels organisation.
I would like to be able to order my labels as I wish to organise them nicely.

I'm using the following dial plan:
3 digits for the devices XXY (for instance 221)
2 digits for the users (for instance 21)

So i would like to be able to order the labels to get the device and the extension next to eachother or all the extensions on one side and all the devices on the other side, something well organised!

    Thank you for your help,

Yes I got that but it could be interesting to know who's logged on a device. For exemple if you have 5 people in your technical support department but only 3 physical devices. They are switching their shifts so that there is always someone ready to pickup the phone. However I do not know who is on which device!

ok, how can I catch those events to be able to change my user's state from offline to online for exemple? Because when I'm using my script, the user's state is not changing so i'm missing a bit of code that will allow me to make this change.

    Hi everyone,

I just installed FOP2 on my asteriskNOW (asterisk 1.6) and I'm having a problem to check who is using a specific device.

I am using asterisk in DEVICEANDUSER mode. This allow my users to logon different devices in the company. but the thing is, in the web interface I cannot check who is logged on a specific device. How can I check that?

    Thank you for your help,

    Hi guys,

I am doing a quite similar things on my asterisk and am having some issue with my users states.

I am using Adhearsion (a fully featured framework using ruby) to logon / logoff my user on a device. But The thing is I have no idea on how to change or set my user's state so that I can see him online or offline on the FOP2 web interface. When I'm using my script, the user is logged on the device but on the interface he still grey (shown as offline).

Where is this state data stored in the astdb? or how can I do to be able to reflect my user's real state?

    Thanks for your help
