FOP2 / Windows XP - Invalid Session

  1. 10 years ago

    Hello,

Up till last week we were able to log one of our PC's that has Windows XP into the FOP2 system via an HTML address. Now any of our PC's that have Windows XP on them cannot access the FOP2 website without getting an Invalid Session error and stopping there. Any suggestions on how we might be able to correct this?

    Thanks

Invalid Session is an Elastix problem for when you try to access fop2 without login into the Elastix web interface first. If you want to bypass that Elastix limitation, you have to go to http://your.server/fop2/fop2.html instead of just /fop2.

The above does not apply to FOP2 installed via tarball on any platform, only to the Elastix Marketplace version.

    Best regards,

Tried that and now its asking for an extension / password which no one here seems to know what it would be. New to the company so trying to figure things out as we go. Is there a default extension / password that the system uses?

  4. Just wanted to say thanks for the info. I went to the call center and showed her the log in screen and she had the user name and password to be able to get in. So that was a huge plus. Now i'll just have to find where the user names / passwords are kept so I can maintain. Thanks again.

When you log into Elastix as an administrator, and select the FOP2 tab, you will see the menu options to add "fop2 users" and set their permissions, passwords, etc.
