Add Virtual Extension -- to see VM

Is there a way to add a virtual extension as a FOP2 button.

Of course not to see the line status, but to see and check VM.

    Thanks, Jason

You will have to add a custom/manual button configuration. fop2admin 1.2.6 and fop 2.21 might work on displaying virtual extensions as defined in FreePBX, but I did not test it out well. I will see if I can review it tomorrow, as I am planing to release 2.22 this week due to some visual/gui bugs introduced on 2.21.

  3. Anything more coming on this?

Try to update to latest versions. Fop2admin includes support for VIRTUAL extensions since a couple of versions, but honestly, I did not even try if it works. If you run the autoconfig-buttons-freepbx.sh script, you should see them as

    [VIRTUAL/1234]
    ...
    ...

    best regards,

  5. What is the best way to upgrade from the autoinstalled 2.21 beta from Elastix to the latest version?

  6. Well FOP2 v2-2.24 is showing under the Addons now.

    Should I uninstall and reinstall?

  7. No advice on this one?

I tried updating via YUM but the version did not change. I tried uninstall / install via elastix and it did not change there either (just lost my configuration of users and buttons) .... restored virtual machine from backup to fix.
