Queue panel not showing

  1. 9 years ago

    Hi all,

    First post on the forum**
After configuring FreePBX (13.0.1) and Fop2 (Version 2.29.02, licensed, including FOP2 Manager Autoconfiguration) as told in the manual (I hope) I still bump into a few problems.
The biggest one so far is that I don't get a QueueBox on the right side of my fop-screen. I only get all the extensions (left panel) which are spread over the whole width of the screen/browser.

In FreePBX I configured the different queues, added static agents etc.. As far as I have read here, everything should happen automagically... But it doesn't. :)
In queues_additional.conf all queues are also listed, so no problem there...

Is there something else I have to configure to make the Queue-panel show up? Or is it because the devices aren't physically linked yet, and therefor show up as unavailable (see attachment) that they don't load in FOP2?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, if more info is needed, I will gladly provide it.

  2. **Bump**

Anybody have any ideas on how to show the Queue-panel or why it's not visible?

  3. Go to your user in fop2 manager and make sure you have "All Queues" selected. Also in manager, under buttons, make sure your queues are enabled.

  4. Thank you for the reply Avayax. All Queues and All Buttons are checked on the user-page in Fop2-Manager, on the buttons-page all Queues are enabled. Still to no avail... :(

    What is the output from:

    /usr/local/fop2/autoconfig-buttons.sh

    ?

Do you see any queues in there ?

  6. Hey there,
I put the output in a file which I added as an attachment. There are no queues or extensions showing in the output file... No idea where FOP2 gets it's data for building the panel.
Thanks in advance for all the help.

I want to see the output when executing the script, not the contents of that script. That is the configuration that will be feed to FOP2. Please run the command as I typed it in my reply, and paste the output.

  8. My apologies for the mistake... Here is the output of the executed script. I deleted most of the extensions since they all look the same and there are over 600 of them...
The Queues are at the bottom of the file. All Extensions that are divided in Groups are visible in FOP2, others aren't. Neither are the queues.

Queues are fine in the config. Try editing the User in the fop2 manager that you use to log, and uncheck all groups it has, leave all groups unselected. Then save the user, reload fop2 and try to log again. Do you see the queue buttons then ?

Final advise, for better Asterisk 13 compatibility FOP2 2.30 should be used, there are some minor issues with Asterisk 13 in previous releases. (but not big issues like the one you have now).

  10. That did the trick! Thank you very much! Glad to have found a solution, still no idea on what the cause of the problem is though...
If I create a template with everything unchecked and apply it to all extensions, will that solve this issue for all users?
Thanks again for the quick response!

    Hi,

The real fix is to run:

    php /var/www/html/fop2/admin/update_conf.php 1

That script is the one that updates the default groups like "All Queues" when new queue buttons are added. That script is run when you reload FOP2, but on some installations the script bails when being run from the FOP2 autoconfig script.

If you run the script, then the default groups will be updated so you can keep using them.

But, if you are not insterested in limiting what buttons are presented to a user, the easiest and recommended way is to not assign any group whatsoever.

    Best regards,
