Changing Attended Transfer key sequence from asterisk default

  1. 8 years ago

    Hi

As I understand it, FOP2 uses the key sequence as defined in the features.conf to initiate an attended transfer, and it uses the default which is a single #

If I want to change this in the features.conf, is there a way to make the same change in the fop2 config?

    Thanks in Advance

FOP2 does not know the code sequence, it does not have to. It uses the atxfer AMI command and whatever code is configured is read by that command/asterisk itself. So, if you change the feature code, then I guess asterisk will just use the configured code, whichever it is. For example, on my system is not a single # but *2

  3. That makes sense, I'll test it now.

  4. Actually it's blind transfer that defaults to # but I'm guessing the same principle applies...

;blindxfer => #1 ; Blind transfer (default is #) -- Make sure to set the T and/or t option in the Dial() or Queue() app call!

Blind transfers in FOP2 are done using the manager Redirect command. It does not use any feature code.

  6. Thank you for your rapid help, my issue is resolved now.
