I bought a license of FOP2 and applied to my running system.
Now I decided to migrate my system to Elastix 2, which comes with a addon installation of fop2 built in.
Can I transfer this license to my new installation? It´s actually the same system/hardware, just an updated version of asterisk maskeraded by elastix.

You should revoke the license in your current setup, then upgrade to elastix and apply/register the code there
/usr/local/fop2/fop2_server --revoke
Revoke will only work on your current/working fop2 sytem, not if you restore, copy over or change anything. The same fop2.lic file will probably fail even if elastix is running on the same hardware.

This gives me the following error:

You have a really old fop2 version, you will need to buy the annual maintenance fee in order to upgrade to the more recent versions, as most probably a year has already passed since you bought fop2. The revoke option was introduced in version 2.20, more than a year ago.
The easiest way for you to upgrade would be to buy the yearly upgrade and let me handle it manually here, please email me or open a ticket in support.asternic.biz
