Running FOP2 2.27 on FreePBX 2.10 with CentOS 6.2

I have uncommented the following lines in /etc/asterisk/fop2/fop2.cfg

monitor_filename=/var/spool/asterisk/monitor/${ORIG_EXTENSION}-${DEST_EXTENSION}-%h%i%s-${UNIQUEID}
monitor_exec=/usr/local/fop2/fop2recording.pl

I can access the recordings from the FreePBX User Portal, but I cannot see them from FOP2/Phonebook/Recordings. I do not see any entry in the fop2recordings table in the asterisk database.

I have obviously missed something in the installation or configuration of FOP2
