Autoconfig Users not working

  1. 11 years ago

I've installed 2.27 on FreePBX 4.211.64-8. It configured the one extension I had setup before install but is not adding the extensions I've added since to the users list, though the buttons are there. I've checked and the

    #exec autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh

    line is present in fop2.cfg

I know this has come up before, but the search function on the forum won't let me search for "autoconfig-users-freepbx.sh"

Thanks in advance for the help!

Edit to add: I can login to fop2 with the one user that was created and it shows buttons for all the configured extensions. The --test function returns a positive result and I've just installed a license.

  2. Any ideas about this, Nicolás? This is a new install and I'll be on-site today to setup the phones. We're not live yet, but will be soon and need FOP2 working.

    Thanks!

Not sure if you are referring to buttons in the display or to users in fop2 users? If the later, if you add extensions to freepbx, it won't create any new fop2 users, you have to do it by hand.

  4. Hi Nicolás-

So the buttons are added/removed automatically, but the users are not? I guess I hadn't noticed this before.

    Hi Nicolás-

Exactly, and it is done by design. Not everyone want to expose fop2 to everyone.

That makes sense. Maybe in a future version there could be an option to auto-add both users and buttons?

    Thanks for the help!

Maybe it is possible to add the option in the create extension page directly. But I have not looked into it yet.
