I need to block clid info globally

  1. 10 years ago

    Running Xorcom CompletePBX V2
    CentOS 5.10
    fop2 2.26

I have searched through the forums and have come up with privacy=clid
I do not know what file is being used to auto gen the buttons and if placing privacy=clid in it would help.

as a test I created a buttons.cfg and edited the fop2.cfg - I was able to see the dummy button.

any assistance you can provide me with would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Chris

If your buttons are auto configured, you most probably have fop2admin for freepbx installed, so, inside FreePBX, go to the "Fop2 Buttons" page where you can set privacy=clid or all for all extensions.

    Best regards,

  3. TY -- That worked! :D

  4. HELP, Looks like calls coming in are Private, However when an extension dials a number - it shows up on the operator panel.

  5. Actually it shows up as g0/(the number) - and when the call is connected it goes private.

  6. Any fix?

  7. http://www.fop2.com/documentation-confi ... uttons.php

    says the

clid: restricts callerid or dialed number display - The numbers are shown on the button when dialed from that extension and it seems that Privacy for the CLID kicks in after the call is connected.
