    martinnoble started the conversation extension shows green with no devices powered on.

    FOP2 beta configured with [USER/<extension>] settings in button config.

    Trixbox setup in device and user mode. All our devices are setup as adhoc so users can login to any phone, but each phone also has a default user which it will revert to if you logout.

    The problem i'm seeing is that a user who is not logged into any physical devices, but who is the default for device shows as logged in. I'm assuming this is because the device they are a default user for shows in the /AMPUSER/856/device tag:

    /AMPUSER/856/cidname : Martin Noble
    /AMPUSER/856/cidnum : 856
    /AMPUSER/856/device : 856
    /AMPUSER/856/followme/ddial : DIRECT
    /AMPUSER/856/followme/grpconf : DISABLED
    /AMPUSER/856/followme/grplist : 856-855
    /AMPUSER/856/followme/grptime : 20
    /AMPUSER/856/followme/prering : 0
    /AMPUSER/856/language :
    /AMPUSER/856/noanswer :
    /AMPUSER/856/outboundcid :
    /AMPUSER/856/password : 0000
    /AMPUSER/856/recording : out=Adhoc|in=Adhoc
    /AMPUSER/856/ringtimer : 0
    /AMPUSER/856/voicemail : novm

    Is there any way for FOP2 to determine that device 856 is not connected and also not logged in a this user, so therefore should not show as logged in.

    This is an issue because we use softphones and have them setup as devices with a default user so the user does not have to login to their softphone - when its connected calls to them will go to their softphone too.

    This would also cover the case where a physical device is powered off before being logged out.

    martinnoble started the conversation bright green extensions.

    I'm running in device and user mode.

    I'm using the beta with [USER/<num>] in the button configs.

    When i look at the FOP2 display 1 extension is showing bright green, rather than the normal green.

    What does this mean as i can't see anything different about that extension for any others.

    martinnoble started the conversation buttons.cfg settings for *11/*12 login and out.

    Hi,

    we are moving to device and user mode and would like to setup Fop2 so that we can see the status of the users, eg are they logged into any devices.

    Some the sound of some other threads this is possible, but i can't find or work out how to configure the buttons.cfg file.

    We are running Trixbox v2.6.2.3 and i have made an edited user_login_out.agi to ensure its sending the UserEvents. (View Post 129&p=519&hilit=out.agi#p476)

    I can easily configur it to show a device, eg:

    [SIP/1002]
    type=extension
    extension=855
    context=from-internal
    label=Support Desk

    But if i log out of this, it still shows green. Is there some way to make it monitor a user, eg 855?
